KATHMANDU: An official at the Department of Revenue Investigation collapsed to death while working on Thursday.

Computer Officer Thakur Prasad Gaire, a permanent resident of Tanahun district, currently residing in Dhumbarahi, KMC-4, had fallen unconscious at the Harihar Bhawan-based office yesterday.

He was rushed to Jaulakhel-based Alka Hospital, where he breathed his last, according to police.

Further investigation is underway.
