KATHMANDU: A man, who fell off the roof of his residence in Sinamangal of Kathmandu, died in the course of treatment last night, police said.

The 32-year-old Nitesh Gurung had fallen off the four-storey building while he was drinking last night on the occasion of New Year's eve.

Rushed to the nearby Kathmandu Medical College Teaching Hospital, Gurung breathed his last during treatment, according to police.

Further investigation is underway.
