KATHMANDU:  A man died after the motorcycle he was riding on met with an accident in Lazimpat of Kathmandu in the wee hours of Friday.

The deceased has been identified as Kabindra Shahi (40).

Shahi breathed his last during treatment at the Thapathali-based Norvic International Hospital in Kathmandu.

The incident occurred at around 2:30 am this morning.

From a preliminary investigation, it has been found that Shahi was driving the motorcycle (Ba 68 Pa 3544) under the influence of alcohol.
