KATHMANDU: A man died after he fell unconscious in Kageshwori Manahara Municipality-2 of Kathmandu on Wednesday.

Bishnu Majhi (40) of Dumre in Tanahun was an assistant at the Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini, Kamalpokhari branch. He was residing at local Kaldhara.

Police said Majhi had consumed a heavy amount of alcohol at a party at his coworker’s house yesterday.

He was rushed to the Chabahil-based Medicare Hospital, which later referred the case to the KMC Teaching Hospital. The second hospital also referred him to the Venus Hospital in Madhya Baneshwor.

However, he breathed his last on his way.

Police are further investigating into the case.
