Kathmandu, November 18

The Election Commission on today set up telephone numbers including a toll free number to enable the public to provide information relating to upcoming provincial and parliamentary polls and to lodge any complaints relating to polls.

The EC issued a press release saying the public could use the toll free number 16600144222 to inform it or lodge any complaint from 8:00am to 8:00pm.  The EC also said that people could provide information or lodge complaints using the telephone numbers 977-1- 4220322/ 4220975 and fax numbers 977-1- 4225580/ 4229227 or email addresses: info@election.gov.np or ecnfsu@gmail.com

The poll panel has also launched mobile applications to enable the public to get information relating to election programmes.
