Edukhabar launches mobile application targeting SLC students
Kathmandu, February 18
Edukhabar, an online education news portal, today launched the edunepal mobile app prepared to help School Leaving Certificate examinees study better for their upcoming exams.
The app can be easily downloaded in all android mobile phones and includes the contents of subjects such as English, mathematics and science that are particularly useful for the SLC examinees.
Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel today formally launched the app and said the new and alternative medium of learning would help students prepare for their exams better. “Students can learn more if we can connect them all with this technology,” he said.
He also urged Edukhabar to include the content of all subjects in the app.
Surya Prasad Gautam, executive director of National Centre for Educational Development, said the app will be helpful in making up for the classes that had been disrupted due to the recent Tarai agitation as well as last year’s earthquake.
He said the government was preparing to launch visual learning materials of all subjects in CDs for teachers and students soon.
Shreedar Poudel, editor at Edukhabar, said the app had helped students access technology in classrooms.
