Kathmandu, September 20:

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Sahana Pradhan, met External Relations Commissioner of the

European Commission, Benita Ferrero-Waldner, yesterday

and discussed various aspects of exchanging cooperation between both the countries in Brussels in Belgium.

The duo also discussed the ongoing peace process, holding the Constituent Assembly polls and current political development in Nepal, including regional and international issues of mutual concern and interest. On the occasion, Commissioner Ferrero stressed the need for holding the CA polls on time and reiterated her full support and commitment in Nepal’s peace process. She also informed Pradhan that the EU would be sending electoral observers for the CA polls.
