KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Police Range, Kathmandu on Wednesday arrested Suk Bahadur Tamang aka Baghe for allegedly extorting money from businesspersons and real estate agents in Swoyambhu and Balaju areas.

He was held from Swoyambhu and has also been accused of robbing a Tibetan of Rs 1.1 million in Bouddha last year.

Baghe has been kept in the police custody under Some Public (Crimes and Punishment Act), said an official.
