KATHMANDU: The Metropolitan Police Circle, Gaushala on Saturday arrested a man on the charge of extorting businesspersons. DSP Surendra Prasad Mainali, MPC in-charge, said Sabin Khadgi, 28, of Kathmandu, and Buden Limbu, 33, and Tikaram Jimi Limbu, 19 Jhapa, currently staying in Kalimati were arrested while extorting street vendors and restaurateurs. DSP Mainali said police have launched an investigation into the extortionists' involvement in other criminal activities.
