Rotaract Club of Patan and the Sands Eye Clinic jointly organised an eye-camp with the theme ‘Drishti: The Vision’ for primary students of St Xavier’s School. The camp was set up on the premises of St Xavier’s School yesterday.

According to a statement issued here today, 242 primary students benefited from the camp.

They had to undergo Visual Acuity Testing, Refraction, Extra Ocular Motility, Cover Test & Convergence Test, Fundus examination and Colour Vision Testing.

Some students were found to be suffering from allergic conjunctivitis, squint, bacterial conjunctivitis and refractive errors.

Parents expressed gratitude to the organisers for conducting the camp. This joint effort will be replicated in other schools as well, the release said.
