Fifth national HR conference next week

Kathmandu, August 22

Human Resource Society Nepal is all set to organise the 5th National HR Conference on August 28 with the theme ‘Employee Care for Higher Productivity’ in Kathmandu.

A press statement issued here today said that the conference will focus on the role of employees’ care in increasing work productivity.

Prithvi Shergill, chief of Human Resource at HCL Technologies Ltd and Tsering Lama, country director of Child Reach Nepal, will be the keynote speakers at the conference.

Realising the direct relationship between employee care and productivity, HR professionals from various industries will gather to discuss the topic and share their ideas and experiences, read the statement. According to Kumar Joshi, President at HR Society Nepal, this event will bring into light the understanding of employee care among HR professionals and strategies to improve employee productivity through proper employee care. National and international HR professionals will be participating in the event.

“Employee care for staffers with disabilities and its positive impact on business will be another highlight of the event,” said Joshi in the statement.

He added, “Idea-sharing and group discussion among participants will be conducted to seek unique and effective ideas for employee care.”

About 250 HR professionals and managers from different industries will participate in the conference.

Human Resource Society Nepal has been successfully organising its annual event since 2011. The 4th HR Conference was based on the theme ‘Managing Employees During Crisis’.
