KATHMANDU: A huge amount of property was gutted by fire near UN Park in Kathmandu today.

Property worth Rs60 million was gutted when a furniture house caught fire. A total of 10 fire engines of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, Lalitpur and Bhaktapur were deployed to douse the fire, said Chief of KMC Judda Fire Brigade, Badri Nagarkoti.

No human casualty was reported and the details of the incident are awaited, he added. Power supply at Buddhanagar area was shut as firefighters battled the blaze.
