KATHMANDU: Police reported two incidents of wildfire in assorted locations of Kathmandu on Friday.

A forest in Tinpiple on the northern outskirts of Kathmandu, near Balaju, had caught fire today.

A police team deployed from the Metropolitan Police Sector, Mudkhu and a fire brigade had doused the fire.

In a similar case, a forest near Doleshwor Temple in Surya Binayak Municipality-7 caught fire.

Police assisted by locals contained it.

Further investigations into both cases are underway.
