Five climbers missing

KATHMANDU:

Five mountaineers have been missing from camp 3 of the Mt Ama Dablam since November 13, said the Ministry of Culture, Tourism and Civil Aviation. Swedish climbers Mikael Forsberg and Daniel Carlsson and high-altitude climber Tashi Dorje Sherpa of the Climb High Ama Dablam Expedition 2006 went missing from the camp, which is located at an altitude of 6400 metre. Mountain guide Mingmu Nuru Sherpa of Khumjung, Solukhumbu, and a British climber, Duncan Williams, also went missing from camp 3 on November 13, the ministry said. Sherpa and Williams are members of the Adventure Peaks Ama Dablam Expedition 2006.
