SAPTARI: Police have arrested five persons including a hotel owner for their alleged involvement in flesh trade from Sitapur-2 of Saptari district.

Police Inspector Gaurab Mahat said that a team from Area Police Office in Kanchanpur held two couples red-handed from a compromising situation at the New Unique Hotel at Sitapur-2 under the East West Highway. The team had acted on a tip off.

Likewise, the hotel owner Bijaya Kumar Mahato of Lahan in Siraha was also arrested for arranging for the illegal act, police said.

Police said that the five arrestees have been kept in the police office and investigation into the case was going on.
