FM scribes up in arms
Kathmandu, August 3:
Journalists of HBC 94 FM today submitted a memorandum to the management, demanding that their 18-point charter of demands be met within three days.
The journalists have been demanding permanent appointment and remuneration and other facilities as per the existing rules and regulations.
A press release issued by the FM wing of the Republican Radio Journalists’ Forum (RRJF) said journalists in the FM station have not been given permanent appointments though they have been working there for a long time now. The statement added that the scribes were compelled to launch protest programmes.
