FNNTE demands security
Kathmandu, September 16:
The Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs (FNNTE) today expressed serious concern about the attack on over 30 buses and trucks at different parts of Rupandehi and Kapilvastu districts. “We demand the Home Ministry provide security to prevent such violent activities and protect the public vehicles. We want proper security arrangements at the earliest because there is a danger of further loss,” said Krishna Prasad Adhikary, general secretary of FNNTE, in a statement today.
He also demanded compensation for the damage vehicles. The FNNTE also threatened to stop plying public vehicles if the government failed to guarantee security to them.
