KATHMANDU, AUGUST 19

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Arzu Rana Deuba, currently on an official visit to India that commenced on August 18, held a bilateral meeting today with her Indian counterpart, Dr. S. Jaishankar.

The discussions centered on issues of mutual interest and the bilateral relationship between Nepal and India, as reported by the Minister's Secretariat.

The Foreign Minister departed for New Delhi on Sunday at the cordial invitation of Dr. Jaishankar, India's Minister for External Affairs.

This marks her first official visit to Nepal's southern neighbor since assuming office on July 15. She is scheduled to return home on August 22.
