Foundation stone laid
Kathmandu:
Pranay Verma, counsellor at the Indian Embassy in Kathmandu, laid
the foundation stone for a new classroom block and hostel block for the Sushma Koirala Memorial Nursing Campus at Sankhu on Tuesday.
According to a press release issued by the embassy, India is providing a cooperation grant of Rs 27,609,988 to the Kathmandu District Development Committee for the development of infrastructure in the nursing campus under the project.
“Verma, on behalf of the Indian Ambassador, said that the new infrastructure of the nursing campus would make a significant contribution in the direction of health-care infrastructure for Nepal’s development,” the press release stated.
