Four held with controlled pharmaceutical drugs from Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: The Narcotics Control Bureau of Nepal Police arrested four persons in possession of controlled pharmaceutical drugs from assorted locations of Kathmandu Valley on Friday.

The 26-year-old Rajan Shrestha of Marming-8 in Sindupalchok district was arrested from Jadibuti Chok of KMC-35. Police also seized 36 ampoules of assorted drugs from him.

They also apprehended 22-year-old Nitin Humagain of Ugratara-8 in Kavre district and 47-year-old Bal Krishna Maharjan of Hetaunda-1 in Makawanpur district from Koteshwor, KMC-35.

Police also seized 19 ampoules of drugs from them. A bike used by duo was also impounded.

Similarly,Police also arrested 28-year-old Bhairav Budathoki, living in a squatters' settlement in Sinamangal, KMC-9 along with 24 ampoule drugs and Rs 50,000 cash.

Police said they are investigating into all the cases.
