LALITPUR: The Metropolitan Police Range, Jawalakhel on Monday arrested Krishna Kumar Rana Magar, who was charged with duping depositors of Shree Manju Saving and Credit Cooperative. Officials said he was arrested on a tip-off from an undisclosed location in Lalitpur. Magar, treasurer of the cooperative, was among many others who made off with more than Rs 47 million of depositors’ money. He has been charged with fraud.
