Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus to hold FSU polls Tuesday

KATHMANDU: The Free Students' Union elections postponed in the Ratna Rajya Laxmi Campus would now be held on Tuesday, March 28.

Issuing a notice today, the campus chief Nirmala Kumari Suwal informed that elections would be held from 11 am to 5 pm on the day.

The polls were scheduled in order to comply with an order from the Supreme Court to hold the elections at the earliest.

The elections were earlier scheduled to be held on March 6, however, disagreements between the student unions had forced the Campus administration to postpone the polls.

The elections, scheduled for March 15, were put off again citing that the local level elections' code of conduct barred the elections.
