FSFN, Naya Shakti Nepal declare unification

KATHMANDU: Federal Socialist Forum, Nepal and Naya Shakti Party, Nepal have unified today.

The declaration of unification was made amidst a programme at Nepal Academy in Kamaladi, Kathmandu.

Party president of FSFN, also the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Health and Population, Upendra Yadav and Coordinator of Naya Shakti Nepal, former prime minister Babu Ram Bhattarai together signed the agreement of unification.

Both Yadav and Bhattarai will be the chairpersons of the unified party, carrying distinct roles. Yadav will be chair party's central committee while Bhattarai will chair the federal council.

The unified party has been named Samajbadi Party, Nepal.
