Kathmandu, January 2:

President of the Tri-Chandra College Free Students’ Union has accused some union members of submitting fake examination forms to the Office of the Controller of Examination (OCE) of the Tribhuvan University. TC FSU president Saroj Thapa today denounced a host of FSU officials including secretary Prachanda Bikram Neupane ‘Guntu’, joint secretary Deepak Lekhak, members Binayram Bhatta, and Ujjwal Khatri.

“They have cheated students of the first year of Masters of Arts in Sociology/Anthropology and the TU by submitting 200 fake examination forms to the OCE,” Thapa claimed, adding, “They faked the signature of the TC campus chief.”

The forgery came to light after the OCE returned the 200 suspicious forms to the Tri-Chandra campus officials, which the accused group snatched and tore to bits to erase all proof.

“We informed the campus administration and OCE of the possibility of forged examination forms,” Thapa said, adding, the campus administration was to blame.

Thapa, however, said that he would try to convince the Office of the Controller of Examination to manage let the 200 students, whose forms were faked, to sit for the examinations. Meanwhile, TC Nepal Students’ Union branch also denounced the forgery and demanded stern action.
