Function to mark 9/11

KATHMANDU:

US envoy James F Moriarty organised a ceremony in memory of those killed in September 11, 2001 attacks, at his residence on Tuesday. “The fight against terrorism is a concerted fight for values and principles that are universal,” he said. Dr Sangita Rayamajhi, the president of the Fulbright Alumni Association Nepal, said, “Asian countries have experienced the pains caused by terror attacks. But the greatest antidote to the pain is greater democracy and respect for human rights.”
