Kathmandu: The Godavari Alumni Association, Thamel, on Saturday launched ‘Saturday Talent’, a programme aimed at nurturing and developing talents in children. “We have come up with this programme to help children gain confidence in their areas of interest, and provide them with a platform to showcase their talent,” said coordinator Ashish Raj Joshi. It caters to children of GAA members between five to 14 years of age, but organisers hope to include children from schools. They are currently focusing on art-crafts and music. ‘Saturday Talent’ will be held every Saturday from 9:00 to 11:00 am at GAA in Thamel. Four children fla-unted their talent at the inaugural programme. — HNS
