KATHMANDU: Deputy Prime Minister Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar on Wednesday registered a new party with the name Madhesi People’s Rights Forum (Loktantrik) in the Election Commission. The party will have Gachhadar as the chairman and 19 members in its central committee. Mohammad Nasir Siddiqui and Rameshwar Raya were appointed as the vice chairmen with Sarad Singh Bhandari as senior leader. Similarly, Jitendra Narayan Dev has been appointed as the general secretary, Rabindra Thakur as the Secretary and Asha Chaturvedi as the treasurer.
