KATHMANDU: The Federal Democratic Alliance (FDA) has decided to take efforts to form an alliance with other Madhes-centric parties and groups for, what it argued, intensify peaceful agitation ongoing in the Madhes-Tharuhat region.

A meeting of the Alliance held on Friday under the chairmanshtarai protesterip of its coordinator Bijay Kumar Gachhadar constituted a three-member talks team to implement the decision, as stated by the front in a press statement issued after the meeting.

The team comprises Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal-Democratic General Secretary Ram Ianam Chaudhary, National Madhesh Socialist Party spokesperson Keshab Jha and Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal-Republican General Secretary CP Singh.
