KATHMANDU: Police on Tuesday nabbed Sajan Maharjan, an alleged gangster, who was said to be making Samakhusi area his crime base.

A special team deployed by Metropolitan Police Crime Division held him on extortion charge. Officials said he had been extorting businesspersons and real estate agents.
