Gangster suffers bullet injuries in police firing at Pepsicola

KATHMANDU: Police on Friday said one member of the notorious gangster Chakre Milan had sustained bullet injuries in police firing at Pepsicola this evening.

SSP Divesh Lohani said that the gangsters opened fire targeting police personnel at Pepsicola near Manahara river. In retaliation police opened the fire, Lohani added.

Lohani informed that one of the gangsters was hit in legs during the police firing.

Police, subsequently, under took the injured Rameshwor Gautam and admitted him to the Bir Hospital for treatment.

Meanwhile, police said they are searching the absconding gangsters in the area.
