KATHMANDU: A group of burglars ran away with gold jewellery worth Rs 108,000 from an unattended house in Makalbari, Gokarneswor Municipality on Friday night.

The yet-to-be-identified buglers entered the house of Mitra Prasad Pathak (38), a permanent resident of Damak - 8, Jhapa, located in Makalbari of Gokarneswor-9 by breaking the window grills, police said.

Police had launched a manhunt while further investigation is underway.
