KATHMANDU: The government has appointed Alexander V Terentev as Honorary Consul of Nepal for Saint Petersburg, Russia. “Terentev is an eminent Russian businessman, a hotelier as well as a good friend of Nepal,” Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement announcing his appointment. Meanwhile, Nepal’s Ambassador to Russia Ravi Mohan Sapkota recently inaugurated the Office of the Honorary Consul of Nepal in Saint Petersburg.  While inaugurating the office, Sapkota said that the opening of Honorary Consul Office in Saint Petersburg had added one more brick to Nepal-Russia relations.
