Govt publicises PM Oli's itinerary, schedule for state visit to India
KATHMANDU: Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday made public the itinerary and schedule of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's upcoming state visit to India.
Leading a high-level delegation, the Nepali Head of the Government is embarking on India visit on Friday, February 19. Oli will be accompanied by his wife Radhika Shakya. He will return home on February 24.
According to MoFA, Nepal's Prime Minister is scheduled to hold official meeting with his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi at Hyderabad House on Saturday, February 20.

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa, Minister for Finance Bishnu Prasad Paudel, Minister for Home Affairs Shakti Bahadur Basnet, the Prime Minister's Chief Advisor Bishnu Prasad Rimal, and Chief Secretary Som Lal Subedi among others will be in the delegation, according to MoFA.
The Prime Minister will call on the Indian President, Pranab Mukherjee, and the Vice President, Mohammad Hamid Ansari also.
Chief Executive Officer of the National Reconstruction Authority Sushil Gyawali and some lawmakers will be also included in the Prime Minister's team. Likewise, media corps and businesspersons will accompany the delegation.
According to PM's Foreign Relations ExpertGopal Khanal, Nepali Congress leaders Sujata Koirala and Purna Bahadur Khadka, CPN-UML lawmakers Lal Babu Yadav and Rajan Bhattarai, UCPN-Maoist General Secretary Krishna Bahadur Mahara will be part of the PM’s delegation.
The Prime Minister will be staying at the Rashtrapati Bhawan in New Delhi as the State Guest, MoFA informed.
