KATHMANDU, MARCH 29

The government has introduced a delivery-based governance framework aimed at ensuring result-oriented and accountable public service delivery.

Approved by the Cabinet, the plan includes preparing a "National Commitment" by consolidating key pledges from political parties' election manifestos. Ministries have been directed to prepare action plans for 10 priority tasks within a week, including timelines and performance indicators.

A taskforce will also be formed within seven days to prepare a Constitution amendment debate paper to build national consensus.
