KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress president Girija Prasad Koirala conferred with CPN-UML senior leaders at his residence in Maharajgunj on Saturday morning.

UML chairman Jhalanath Khanal, Prime Minister Madhav Kumar Nepal and other party leaders discussed the contemporary political issues. The vacant posts in the constitutional bodies and the Nepal Rastra Bank governor issues were among the key issues being deliberated. It added that they also talked about the fate of the government, constitution drafting, peace process and the PLA combatants integration process.

The meet is expected to continue tomorrow.
