The weather today is expected to be partly to mostly cloudy across the country, with the possibility of light to moderate rain in several areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, and in a few locations across the remaining provinces.
Additionally, heavy rainfall may occur in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces. Windstorms are also possible in parts of Madhes and Koshi provinces, according to the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology.
Tonight, the weather will remain partly to mostly cloudy nationwide, with light to moderate rain, accompanied by thunder and lightning, expected in some hilly areas of Bagmati, Gandaki, and Karnali provinces, and in one or two locations in the remaining provinces. Thunderstorms are also likely in some areas of Madhes and Koshi provinces.
The Department forecasts light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning in parts of Koshi, Bagmati, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces, as well as in some locations in other provinces over the next 24 hours.
Heavy rain may also occur in one or two locations in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, and Karnali provinces.
