KATHMANDU: Hello Sarkar, an official portal of the government under the Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers to receive public grievances, has launched a call centre with an aim to operate its activities through a wire system and instantly report the grievances to concerned authorities.

According to Ram Chandra Koirala, officer at Hello Sarkar, the call centre services have been set up since December 14.

The general public can report their problems to the government by dialing 1111 through a call center. The employees will immediately report their issues to authorities concerned through a computer system. Recording system is also available at the center.

Rupak Aryal, an employee, hoped that with the launch of a new system, they need not deal with people who used to call at the Hello Sarkar’s system in the past just for fun.

The call center services will be available from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm every day.

The portal also receives public grievances through emails and social media including Facebook and Twitter.
