Home Minister Sharma extends condolences

KATHMANDU: Home Minister Janardan Sharma has extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved families of assistant sub-inspector of Nepal Police Nischal Kumar Tamang and constable Dip Kumar Maske, who were buried in a landslide while clearing the road obstruction in the Narayangadh-Muglin section on Friday.

Issuing a condolence note today, Home Minister Sharma said the country lost two servants to the nation in course of accomplishing their duty, adding two  police constables Lil Bahadur Chepang and Sandip Karki were unaccounted for in the landslide.

The Home Minister wished fortitude to concerned families, relatives and the entire Nepal Police at this moment.

He also expressed commitment that bereaved families would be provided relief and the arrangement for the study of their children.

The Minister also wished speedy recovery of the truck driver and helper who were injured in the landslide.
