Honour for SLC toppers

KATHMANDU: Arunima Education Foundation today organised a programme to honour students passing the SLC Examinations 2065 from Arunima Higher Secondary School, Bouddha and Nava Arunima Secondary School, Arubari.

Of the total 178 students appearing in the examinations, two students — Shailesh Pathak and Dibas Khadka — jointly secured Board Second Position with 92.13 per cent each. Fifty-five students passed the exams with distinction while 121 secured first division. Two students passed the exams with second division.

This is the 15th batch of students graduating from the school that has been successful in bringing cent percent results in the SLC examination so far.

Litterateur Ananda Dev Bhatta honoured the students on behalf of the Arunima Education Foundation. Speaking on the occasion, Bhatta congratulated the SLC graduates and requested them to help in nation building. Also present on the occasion were Kishor Thapa, board topper of SLC exams 2033 BS, TU Vice Chancellor Prof Dr Madhav Raj Sharma and litterateur Shyam Prasad Sharma, among others.

Speaking on the occasion, Buddhi Bahadur Thapa, chairman of the school management committee, expressed happiness in the success of the school. “The school is a non-profit based educational trust. We are proud to provide quality education to students at affordable fee structure,” he added.

Ishwori Lamichhane, principal of Arunima Higher Secondary School, pledged to impart quality education to students in the coming years.
