KATHMANDU: The Parliament Secretariat is making preparations to hold discussion on the no-confidence motion against the KP Sharma Oli-led government for three days, according to Rastriya Samachar Samiti.

Sudarshan Kuinkel, co-spokesperson of Parliament Secretariat, however, said time would depend on the number of lawmakers taking part in the discussion.

The Legislature-Parliament is set to begin the discussion on Thursday

After the CPN Maoist Centre withdrew support to and pulled out of the coalition government, the Maoist party and the Nepali Congress challenged the Prime Minister at the Parliament filing the no-confidence motion on Wednesday (July 13). The motion would take seven days to mature as per the Parliamentary Regulations.
