The registration plates still remain unchanged. So, the committee will investigate into the misuse of such vehicles and submit a detailed report,” said the committee’s Chairman Mohan Singh Rathoor.
The committee meeting today endorsed a report relating to the alleged involvement of Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority in Kathmandu University’s entrance examination. The report was submitted by a subcommittee formed by the committee.
Meanwhile, assessing that the general people travelling to their homes outside Kathmandu to join their family for Dashain are facing various problems, the committee also decided to hold a discussion with concerned authorities tomorrow.
Representatives of Transport Management Department and Federation of Nepalese National Transport Entrepreneurs have been summoned for tomorrow’s meeting. “The panel will direct the government to ease transport-related problems after the discussion,” he said.
