House passes Civil Service Bill ’71

KATHMANDU: The Legislature-Parliament meeting on Friday passed the Civil Service (Fourth Amendment) Bill 2071 along with the report of the State Affairs Committee.

On behalf of Minister for General Administration, Lalbabu Pandit, Foreign Minister Mahendra Bahadur Pandey tabled the proposal at the Parliament meeting. Prem Suwal of Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party demanded the provision of punishment to the civil servants who have PR and Green Card of the foreign countries.

Minister Pandey said. “It was not possible to incorporate the provision but could be discussed in the forthcoming governments.”
