KATHMANDU, SEPTEMBER 21
Three people were killed in a massive house fire in Kapan, today.
A massive fire erupted in the building owned by Tanka Ghising in Budhanilkantha-10 this evening which also injured many, according to the Chief of Juddha Fire Brigade Prakash Pandit.
Mean while, the police ascertained the identities of the three deceased as Ashok Rai, Chhowang Sherpa and Karsang Sherpa.
The building also houses Elite Expedition Pvt Limited, a trekking company co-owned by renowned mountaineer Nirmal Purja 'Nimsdai. It has been learnt that many gas cylinders were stored in the ground floor office of the trekking company for upcoming expeditions.
Firefighters had to struggle a lot to douse the fire.
