KATHMANDU, JANUARY 9

Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal said he was assured of getting a vote of confidence from the House of Representatives (HoR).

"I am assured of winning a vote of confidence. I believe the whole HoR will stand in my favour by giving me a vote of confidence," he said to media-persons after emerging from the HoR meeting today.

PM Dahal is seeking a vote of confidence tomorrow (Tuesday).

Stating that the first HoR meeting saw a cordial environment, he said all parties and independent parliamentarians put their view with the commitments of beginning a new.

"All of them agreed that everyone should come together to resolve the country's existing problems."
