MADHYAPUR THIMI: Recent days have seen a spurt in the stealing of idols from temples in Bhaktapur. Centuries-old idols of Uma-Maheshwor and Narayana were stolen from Ram Mandir and Krisna Mandir in Hanumanghat this month. Around 10 idols were stolen from the Hanumanghat alone. Twelve idols of Bhadrakali, Ganesha, Kumar and Bhairabh were stolen from the same area.
