CPN (UML) Chairperson KP Sharma Oli emphasized that all sides should take the issues negatively affecting human health seriously.

He made these remarks during an interaction titled 'Climate Change Impacts on Environment and Resolving Measures,' organized by the CPN (UML)'s Department of Forest and Environment at the party office in Chyasal, Lalitpur. Oli, also the former Prime Minister, highlighted that human interests and unawareness are adversely impacting health and the environment.

Chairperson Oli emphasized that humans should acquire adaptive skills to mitigate the negative impacts of climate change on human life and the environment. He stated, 'All sides should make serious efforts to resolve problems by mitigating the negative effects of carbon emission on human health.'

Recognizing the necessity to study the effects of carbon emission triggered by brick industries in the Kathmandu Valley, Oli suggested that the government should incentivize and promote the establishment of industries adopting technology to reduce carbon emissions in the Valley.

Department head Bharati Pathak stressed the importance of preventing and addressing carbon emissions that exceed the Earth's carrying capacity.
