NPC-JICA workshop

KATHMANDU: The National Planning Commission (NPC) organised a workshop on Wednesday with cooperation from the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) to institutionalise and consolidate a monitoring and evaluating system. NPC vice chairman Dr Shankar Sharma said the prevailing system of monitoring should be consolidated for effective implementation of strategies concerning poverty alleviation. JICA resident representative Eitaro Mitoma said efforts would always be made to continue to provide cooperation to Nepal. — RSS
