Free Treatment
KATHMANDU: With the initiation of Bhaktapur district chapter of the Federation of Nepali Journalists, Bhaktapur hospital will provide free treatment to journalists affiliated to FNJ-Bhaktapur. As per the agreement between FNJ Bhaktapur and Bhaktapur hospital, journalists affiliated to FNJ-Bhaktapur would be provided free treatment, said Narayan Sundar
Kilamboo, president of FNJ Bhaktapur Chapter, on Wednesday. According to Kilamboo, Minister for Health and Population Giriraj Mani Pokhrel would hand over the free treatment cards to the journalists on Thursday. — HNS
Plea to blood donors
Kathmandu: Nepal Red Cross Society, Kathmandu, will launch series of programmes this month to motivate people to donate blood in its bid to end recurring shortage of blood.
Dr Manita Rajkarnikar, director of Central Blood Transfusion Service said demand for blood is unpredictable and often rises suddenly.
Adequate amount of blood will be a great relief to people and the CBTS, she said. — HNS
