400 kg hashish seized

KATHMANDU: Police team from the Narcotic Drug Control Law Enforcement Unit on Monday arrested two persons with 400 kg of hashish, the NDCLEU said. The police said they arrested Krishna Bahadur Tamang, 36, of Dhading, and Man Bahadur Moktan, 25, of Makawanpur with the narcotics from Badbhanjyang-7, Kathmandu some days ago. “They were waiting for customers when the police team arrested them,” SSP Kuber Singh Rana, said. — HNS

Blast at Bhanimandal

LALITPUR: A bomb went off near the house of Sudip Bahadur Singh at Bhanimandal, Lalitpur Sub-Metropolitan City-13 on Sunday evening, the police said. The explosion didn’t cause any human casualty. The police said the bomb damaged windowpanes of the house. The police have no idea who planted the bomb there. — HNS
