KATHMANDU: The internal conflict between the staffers and management of the Kathmandu University (KU) has drawn the attention of the Confederation of Nepalese Professionals (CONEP). PIL filed at SC

KATHMANDU: A Public Interest Litigation (PIL) was filed at the Supreme Court on Friday seeking its order to the government authorities, including the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) and Cabinet, to control advertisements from media that are against the equality of women. The petitioners sought an order to the PMO, the Ministry of Information, Communication, and the Press Council to stop advertisements against the equality of women. — HNS

Shaha passes away

KATHMANDU: Former Director General of Radio Nepal, Bhogya Prasad Shaha, 84, passed away at Norvic Hospital on Friday morning. Shaha was suffering from asthma. He is survived by his wife and one son. — RSS
